Studio Eckström, founded by Mark and Mikal Eckström, emerged from a deceptively simple belief: a home should reflect the people who live in it and carry a sense of history, even if everything is brand new. What started as an intimate side project has grown into a nationally recognized design practice, transforming homes from Omaha's historic Dundee neighborhood to the celebrated rooms of the Kips Bay Show House.

Comprehensive interior design from initial design development through final installation. Services include: space planning, architectural detailing, custom millwork design, material and finish specification, lighting design, furniture selection, FF&E procurement, contractor coordination, and project management. Projects from $150,000 to $4,000,000+.

Specialty renovation of historic residential properties, with deep experience in Omaha's Dundee, Gold Coast, and Midtown neighborhoods. Services include architectural millwork restoration, period-appropriate material sourcing, and full interior renovation while maintaining original character and structure.

Design Consulting and Concept Development
Consulting engagements for clients with existing direction or partially completed projects. Deliverables include written design narratives, material palette development, furniture layout recommendations, and sourcing guidance. Available nationwide and internationally.
